Please note: although the workshop is designed for Romanian-speaking children (RO), our experience shows that English-speaking children can also attend, as our trainers will provide them with specific instructions.

Garden Imprints (RO)

Children will explore natural shapes and textures, transforming ordinary vegetables into unique artistic tools. They will discover the surprising prints of plant cross-sections, using them as stamps to create chromatic compositions and playful layers on paper. Botanical Atlas: studies inspired by nature (RO)

Children will create their own mini botanical atlas, transforming drawing into a research tool for the plant world. They will study the structures and details of real or imaginary plants, organizing their visual observations into study pages that form a personal collection. A Map of Nature (RO)

Children will create imaginary maps inspired by the forms of nature, transforming leaves, seeds, and stems into invented plant worlds. They will build fantastic gardens and botanical rivers using lines, dots, and repetitive rhythms, learning how to organize a composition across the entire surface of the page. Moving Images: agamograph (RO)

Trainer: Ana Olivia Lăzărescu, art historian

Children will discover the magic of the agamograph, creating dynamic artworks that transform depending on the angle from which they are viewed. They will draw two different images, then cut and paste them onto a folded structure to generate surprising optical effects.
