Winter Lights | Family workshop (Language: Romanian)

Trainer: Ana Olivia Lăzărescu, arti historian

This family workshop is for both, children and parents. In the “Winter Lights” workshop, parents and children will paint on glass, transforming the transparent surface into a winter landscape illuminated from within with tiny lights, creating a spectacular and poetic effect. Inspired by images of starry skies, the aurora borealis, and winter nights, we will explore how light interacts with color and the transparency of glass. Participants will observe how light falls on snow-covered mountains, trees, or city silhouettes, and how these contrasts can be represented artistically. The final piece will be a luminous decorative object, where painting and internal lights complement each other, creating a warm and delicate atmosphere. We provide bottles for all the participants, but you are also welcomed to bring your own recipient, giving it a second life through art. The workshop encourages creative recycling and the transformation of simple objects into unique decorative pieces. The workshop is structured step by step so that both children and parents can work in a relaxed and intuitive way. Participants will learn: - how to create a winter landscape on glass, taking into account transparency and light - how to combine cool colors with bright accents to create atmosphere - how parent–child collaboration stimulates creativity and communication
